Inorder to start the JGR, please follow the below steps.

First we need to install rJava Packages as it is required by JGR in R console.

Command: install.packages("rJava",,"")


Command: install.packages("rJava")


Load the Package 'rJava'

Command: library('rJava')

After that download the JGR fop 64-bit version from the below link: 

For 32-bit download the JGR from the below link:

Double click on the jgr.exe file that you have downloaded to start the JGR. 

Once it is started you will find the below screenshot.

If you find the same image on your machine then we have successfully started the JGR.

Note: There is a possibility that you might receive the error saying that "cannot load jvm.dll library" while loading rJava package console. jvm.dll file will be mostly present in the one of  below folders.

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_25\jre\bin\server


C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\jre\bin\client

Search where it is present manually and add that path in the system Variable "Path"  ( Environment variable) of your system and restart the R console.
